Your Right of Cancellation

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within a period of fourteen days without giving any reason.

The cancellation period begins on the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier nominated by you, has taken delivery of the goods, and ends fourteen days thereafter.

To exercise your right of cancellation, you must notify us by means of a clear statement — for example, by post or by electronic message:

This notification must make your decision to withdraw from the contract clear. You may optionally use the model cancellation form provided below — there is no obligation to use it.

In order to meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient that you send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of cancellation before the period has expired.

Consequences of Cancellation

In the case of a valid cancellation, we shall reimburse all payments received from you — including delivery costs (with the exception of any additional costs arising from your choice of a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us) — without delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we receive your notification of cancellation.

Refunds shall as a rule be made using the same payment method as the one you used for the original transaction — unless expressly agreed otherwise with you. Under no circumstances will you be charged any fees in connection with the refund itself.

We reserve the right to withhold the refund until we have received the goods back, or until you have provided evidence of having returned the goods — whichever is the earlier.

You must return the goods without undue delay, and in any case no later than fourteen days from the day on which you notify us of your cancellation. The deadline is met if you dispatch the goods before the fourteen-day period has expired.

You shall bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

You shall only be liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Exclusions from the Right of Cancellation

The right of cancellation does not apply to the following types of contract:

• Contracts for the supply of goods that are not prefabricated and for the manufacture of which an individual selection or determination by the consumer is decisive, or which are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer;
• Contracts for the supply of goods that are liable to deteriorate quickly or whose expiry date would be exceeded rapidly;
• Contracts for the supply of sealed goods that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if their seal has been removed after delivery;
• Contracts for the supply of goods which, after delivery and according to their nature, have been inseparably mixed with other items;
• Contracts for the supply of sealed audio or video recordings or sealed computer software whose seal has been opened after delivery.

How the Return Process Works

1. Send an email to contact@deanshop.com stating your order number and reason for return.
2. We will confirm receipt of your request and provide you with the return address.
3. Pack the item carefully — preferably in its original packaging.
4. Send the parcel back to us within fourteen days of your cancellation notification.
5. Once we have received and inspected the goods, we will refund the purchase price within fourteen days.

Refunds

The refund will be issued using the original payment method you used for the order. Please note that, depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take between five and ten working days for the amount to appear in your account.

Damaged or Defective Goods

Should the goods you have received arrive damaged or defective, please contact us within seven days of receipt at contact@deanshop.com. Please include clear photographs of the damage as well as your order number. In such cases we will of course cover the cost of return shipping and offer you, at your choice, either a replacement or a full refund of the purchase price.
